Wisconsin Aquaculture Association, Inc.
The Wisconsin Aquaculture Association is the voice of aquaculture in the State. It is industry-led, producer-centered, and actively promotes, educates, and advocates for the economic vitality and environmental sustainability of aquaculture. WAA hosts farmer oriented workshops and sponsors the annual Wisconsin Aquaculture Conference and Aquaculture Day-the first such state resolution passed in the U.S. Legislators and state officials look to WAA for input on legislation and regulations and often seek opinions from the Board regarding new research, marketing, and financing programs designed to assist the expansion of aquaculture in the State.
