A village of six gift shops located in the heart of Wisconsin's largest Amish community. Chuck and Kathy Kuderer and family (non Amish) became friends with their Amish neighbors and in 1994, the Amish began building the gift shops on the Kuderer's farm to have an outlet to sell their handmade products. Today about 50 Amish families sell their furniture , quilts, produce, baskets , jams and jellies, homemade candies and more. Each of the gift shop has a different personality, as the Kuderer's also work with other local artisans. In addition Kathy seeks out lots of fun unique giftware, which is tastefully displayed amongst the gift shops on the farm: The Amish, The Little Red Shed, Emma's Kitchen, Kinner Korner Children's Shop, Not So Plain & Simple and The Country Corner Ice Cream Shop.
We are a small suri farm in SE Wisconsin. We became interested in alpacas in 2003 when we first saw alpacas at a town festival. We did research, visited a few farms, took seminars and finally purchased our first alpacas (after selling our lawn care business). We have top lineage from herd sires: Torbio, Bruxo, Ace, Fruzane Noir, Meteor el Nino, Midas Touch and Diablo. We breed for top conformation, density, luster, staple length and low micron (comfort factor). As a small farm we can give individual attention to each animal. Our herd sires produce some of the best luster in the nation! We hold tours of our farm, but call ahead please to make sure we are available. In addition to alpaca sales and breeding we have a farm store with hand crochet items, skeins, roving's, rug yarn, rugs, horse saddle pads, and batting all from our alpaca fiber. Other items include socks, vests, sweaters, fur items, etc. We include reproductive guarantees on males and females. GROUP TOURS are always available & we are OPEN YEAR ROUND. We hold periodical seminars/classes & a yearly Holiday Open House (the first Saturday in December). Call or email for a visit!

Free samples are always available. Check "What's Happening" on our website for updates. Check Events site for special, monthly events. The apple orchard overlooks Lake Winnebago's east shore and was renamed Heritage Orchard (formerly Erickson's) when Vern and Ann Gasch purchased the farm in 1976. Although the farm was never previously owned by the Gasch family, their roots ran deep with three generations involved in planting, care and operation of the orchard over the years. The original farm house was Vern's first home in 1947, the same year that the first trees were planted. The Heritage continues -- a family business for your family to enjoy. "A Taste of Country" represents an inviting setting with fresh, wholesome products. Enjoy the green grass, fresh air, a fantastic view and friendly, helpful people.
