Join us for a fun and informative tour of our cranberry marsh. Tours run approximately 45 minutes, guests ride in our comfortable bus, and walking is minimal. Tours held rain or shine mid-June until mid-October. You can also visit our gift shop for cranberries, wine, food, gifts & gift baskets. The gift shop is open year round Tuesday - Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm. Varieties of Cranberry wine and Cranberry/Fruit blend wine offered in the gift shop are produced and bottled by Lake Nokomis Cranberries, using cranberries grown on our farm.
Since 1955, the Lautenbach family has been planting, harvesting and producing quality fruit products in Door County, Wisconsin. Situated on 100 acres of blossoming orchards and lush vineyards, the family estate is home to a winery, cider mill and farm market. Established in 1985, the winery resides in a restored dairy barn and produces most of its award-winning wines from fruits grown on the property. Estate-grown fruits include cherries, apples, grapes, raspberries, and pears. Several styles of wine are offered for complimentary tasting and purchase, ranging from dry to sweet, pure fruit and grape varietals, in addition to sparkling and spiced. The spacious farm market offers hundreds of Door County and Wisconsin-made products, featuring the popular tart Montmorency cherry. Also available is fresh bakery, artisan cheese, jam, salsa, pie filling, wine accessories and more. Renard's Cheese is a family owned and operated business since 1961. Master Cheesemaker Chris Renard is a third generation cheesemaker crafting cheese the old fashion way. Fresh cheese curds daily and a wide variety of handcrafted artisan cheese - Cheddars, Colby, Farmers, Muenster, Brick, Marble, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella string, Smoked string and over 50 flavor infused specialty cheeses. We are central Wisconsin's largest commercial apple orchard along with the areas newest rustic wedding and events venue. We will be open for pick your own apples starting late August. Seventy-five acres of breathtakingly beautiful Wisconsin scenery flowing across a ridge and valley provide the setting for Vernon Vineyards' expansive vineyard, charming tasting room, and Pedretti's Party Barn. All Vernon Vineyards wines are produced using only 100% locally-grown grapes and Wisconsin cranberries. Our wines range from delectable white table wines, to robust and full-bodied reds--and include two dessert wines: a popular ice-style white and a sumptuous port-style red. Free wine sampling is offered during all open hours. Servers provide a healthy sampling of rural Wisconsin hospitality with every pour. Our wines are moderately priced. Generous quantity discounts are applied to wine purchases (20% on cases!). We also have a Case Club that provides special offers and events for Case Club Members. There is no membership fee for the Case Club. Anyone who purchases a case of wine can join. Tour groups and buses are welcome and readily accommodated with the large venue and parking lot. (Reservations are appreciated for groups of more than eight, and are required for buses and groups of 12 or more.) We invite you to sample our wines, visit with our courteous and knowledgeable staff and make yourself at home in our gracious tasting room, on the sun-bathed patio, or on the large, covered deck. von Stiehl Winery, Wisconsin's oldest licensed winery, located along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline opened its doors 53 years ago! The Schmiling brothers that grew up in von Stiehl Winery now own and operate it. The older bother, Aric, utilizes the most modern equipment known to wine making as he and his team artfully craft premier wines. The younger brother, Brad, likes romance and history and manages the business. The two brothers bought the business from their parents, Bill & Sandy in 2003, who bought it from Doc Stiehl in 1981. Von Stiehl Winery credits it's early momentum from using top quality ingredients from local Wisconsin fruit. Their vineyard, established in 1997, is the oldest licensed commercial vineyard in Door County featuring French-Hybrid grape varietals Marquette, Marechal Foch and Frontenac. von Stiehl has since broadened their horizons to include award-winning dry white and red varietals, such as Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir and others. Their impressive wine list has more than 40 varietals, including hard ciders.
